WSUD Fact Sheets for Residents

City of Port Phillip

City of Port Phillip recently amended planning policy to include the requirement for small-scale sub-divisions to meet the requirements of Clause 56 and meet best practice stormwater management requirements on site. Officers found that small-scale developers and local residents were unfamiliar with water sensitive design and maintenance requirements. Accordingly, E2Designlab assisted in the development of WSUD Fact Sheets for residents on raingardens, rainwater harvesting and permeable paving. The fact sheets were designed with easily understandable language, clear diagrams, simple maintenance checklists and advice on spotting and resolving common issues.

Water Sensitive City Outcomes:

  • community education
  • clear communication of WSUD assets
  • practical guidance
