Sydney Science Park Integrated Water Design

Sydney Water

E2Designlab are part of a team investigating options for integrated water management and WSUD at Sydney Science Park close to the new airport at Badgery's Creek. Integrated WSUD approaches are proposed including passive irrigation of streetscapes, flood mitigation and stormwater treatment within the riparian zone and both stormwater reuse and wastewater recycling. Various options were considered with respect to aspirations to achieve no increase in downstream flow volumes to protect Science Creek as well as minimise the importation of potable water and discharge of wastewater from the precinct.
