Supporting early adoption of Water Sensitive City research outcomes
Kim Markwell and Celeste Morgan have been assisting the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities since June 2016 as the project leaders for Project D1.4 - Learning through demonstration and integration. The aim of this project is to support and encourage the early adoption of research outcomes by industry - specifically by demonstrating how knowledge developed by the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities can be applied in practice using case studies and demonstration projects.
To-date a number of detailed case studies have been developed, exploring the key drivers and innovations which led to the adoption of water sensitive cities outcomes, and to highlight the lessons learnt through the process. These case studies, along with project photos and informative videos are available on the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities's website here.
Currently Kim is busy developing new detailed case studies for NSW and QLD as well as new short case studies which will highlight projects which have successfully delivered a range of Water Sensitive Cities concepts across Australia. There are also a number of demonstration projects which may be happening this year..... stay tuned by subscribing to the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities newsletter through the 'News+Events' tab on the website.
